Y Talbot is a characterful Grade ii listed inn at the heart of Tregaron, a small but bustling market town at the foot of the Cambrian mountains.
Y Talbot was renovated in 2010 by the Taylor and Watkin families. This historic Welsh Inn, set at the foot of the Cambrian Mountains and close to Cardigan Bay has been renewed throughout but retains its restful, timeless feel.
Our vision was to create a thriving Welsh country Inn sitting at the heart of the local economy, offering high quality freshly made local produce, stylish and comfortable accommodation and a great welcome in a traditional setting.
We have recruited, trained and developed an excellent team of local, mainly bilingual staff to create a great team.
Owners Mick & Nia Taylor and Head Chef Dafydd Watkin extend a warm welcome to visitors from near and far.
