Christmas Party Dining at Y Talbot
Our Christmas party menu will be served from 24th November to 23rd December 2026, bringing together seasonal favourites and a few delicious twists on the traditional.
Dafydd and his kitchen team have created a menu full of festive flavours, including a comforting root vegetable and mushroom Wellington and a warm mincemeat and almond tart served with vanilla ice cream.
Expect the same care, quality ingredients and attention to detail that go into our menus throughout the year, with a little extra Christmas cheer thrown in for good measure.
Whether it’s a staff celebration, a gathering of friends or the annual family get-together, we’ll make sure everyone is well fed and looked after.
And no, you don’t have to wear a Christmas jumper. Although we reserve the right to admire particularly dreadful ones.
Planning Your Christmas Party
We know that organising a Christmas party can sometimes feel like herding cats. Particularly when you’re trying to get everyone to agree on a date, a menu and who’s driving.
So, here’s the important information:
- Dates: 24th November – 23rd December 2026
- Group size: Minimum of 12 guests for our Christmas party menu
- Smaller groups: Please get in touch, as we can offer selected dates
- Booking: Pre-orders and payment are required one week before your party
Our team will be happy to help with the arrangements, leaving you to concentrate on the important things. Like deciding whether it’s too early for a second pudding.
Live Music & Festive Entertainment in December
Of course, Christmas isn’t just about the food. We’ve got three fantastic evenings of live entertainment lined up, each offering something a little different.
Friday 4th December – Alfie: The Elvis Experience
Alfie – The Elvis Experience, live at Y Talbot on Friday 4th December 2026.
The King is coming to Tregaron!
Alfie brings the music of Elvis Presley to Y Talbot for an evening of familiar favourites, fantastic entertainment and, we suspect, a few people discovering their inner Elvis.
Blue suede shoes optional.
Saturday 12th December – Ed Jones Jazz: Swing, Crooner & Christmas Classics
Ed Jones brings swing, crooner favourites and Christmas classics to Y Talbot on Saturday 12th December.
Get into the festive spirit with Ed Jones, bringing us an evening of smooth swing, timeless crooner favourites and good old-fashioned Christmas classics.
Think familiar tunes, a little nostalgia and plenty of festive charm. The perfect soundtrack to a December evening with friends, good food and a glass of something lovely.
Friday 18th December – The Legend of Meat Loaf
The Legend of Meat Loaf brings the rock classics to Y Talbot on Friday 18th December 2026.
We’re finishing our festive entertainment line-up with a tribute to one of rock’s most unmistakable voices.
Expect big songs, big performances and plenty of opportunities to sing along. After all, we’d do anything for Christmas… but we won’t do that.
